 Liberal Democrat Prospective MP for New Forest East, Terry Scriven has warmly welcomed Totton’s latest retailer, a 99p Store.
The new store has effectively replaced the former Woolworths Store that remained empty for several months following the national collapse of the company.
Terry Scriven popped in to talk to local shoppers and meet the Manager, Sia to wish him and the business good luck in such difficult trading conditions.
The store does seem to be a big hit with local shoppers, with brisk business undertaken, even on a cold February morning.
Terry says “It’s important that Totton keeps free car-parking if it is to compete with nearby Southampton. The local traders need all our support if they are to survive these difficult economic times.”
