The effect of Nick Clegg’s in the TV debate was heard loud and clear last Saturday when Terry Scriven spent the day meeting people in Lyndhurst and Brockenhurst.
Terry says, “The morning at Lyndhurst was really encouraging, people wanted to stop and talk. One learns a lot from listening to people.
Many of them said that Nick Clegg was a revelation and they are seriously thinking of voting liberal Democrat! At Brockenhurst in the afternoon it was the same. The election has come alight for us in new Forest East.”
Further walkabouts are planned for Hythe, Marchwood and Totton over the next few weeks leading up to the General Election.
Terry has pledged that, if elected as your local MP he will have an office in Totton for convenient access by constituents.
He will also move his weekly surgeries across the Constituency so that people don’t need to travel too far to meet him.
Terry is not ambitious for glory in Westminster. He just wants to be a really good constituency MP working for local people.
