Liberal Democrat Prospective MP for New Forest East, Terry Scriven, is reminding people not to visit the local Health Centre if they have flu symptoms.
The NHS is encouraging people with flu to stay at home, to limit the risk of spreading the infection to other people.
However, despite the warnings, some people are still turning up, coughing and sneezing and very likely to infect other people at the health centres.
Terry says “Flu is a horrible illness and it is spreading quickly at this time of the year.
I hope that people with the bug will realise that the responsible thing is to isolate themselves whilst they are unwell.
If they need assistance they are encouraged to get advice over the telephone. “
The number for getting help and assistance is 0800 1513 100. |
