 The New Forest Liberal Democrats are launching the largest crime & anti-social behaviour surveys ever carried out in the district.
In the next few weeks every household in the New Forest East Parliamentary constituency will be receiving a special survey pack that will include an updated version of the popular card that discourages cold callers and gives practical tips for householders.
Liberal Democrat Prospective MP for New Forest East, Terry Scriven is behind the initiative.
He says “I know that many local residents are concerned about yobbish behaviour and I have heard of many distressing incidents that are never reported to the police.
Once the results are back I intend discussing our findings with senior police officers, responsible for the New Forest area.”
Terry Scriven has considerable experience in police matters.
He is a graduate of the Home Office National Police Staff College Strategic Command Course, a security consultant and a former senior officer in the Royal Military Police, with over 37 years experience in policing.
