Peter Chambers
New Town Councillor for Ringwood North, Peter Chambers
Liberal Democrats are celebrating in Ringwood tonight after Councillor Peter Chambers was elected unopposed to the Town Council.

The vacancy arose following the resignation of one of the conservative councillors, apparently after an internal disagreement with his fellow conservative councillors, only a few weeks after they were all elected in May this year.

Peter Chambers said, “I am delighted to be back on the Council and will continue my work in trying to improve the quality of life for the residents of Ringwood.”

Parliamentary Candidate for New Forest East Terry Scriven said “I am delighted with this latest result which comes hard on the heels of the Liberal Democrats’ great success in the North Totton Town elections”.
