Lib Dem Activists- knocking on all doors
New Forest Liberal Democrats are working flat out to secure a victory in the crucial by-election taking place in West Totton, next Thursday (July 20th).

Activists from all over the New Forest have been helping out with the campaign, by knocking on doors, telephone canvassing and delivery of leaflets.

Organiser of the Totton Campaign, Cllr Alan Weeks says "We have worked really hard.

A week ago, the canvas teams had managed to knock on every single door in the ward. For the past week, we have been going around a second time in an effort to contact every single voter. We have generally had a very good reception".

Candidate, Len Harris says "I'm really thrilled by the amount of support I have had. I think it is going to be a very close result between ourselves and the Conservatives. Whatever happens, this will hold us in good stead for the all-out elections next May.

If you would help the Liberal Democrats to win a further seat on the District Council, call Alan Weeks on 0238087 0908.

The by-election results from the resignation of a Tory Councillor, known to be disenchanted by the Tory controlled authority.
