| Terry Scriven gives Gridlock warning |

|
Ringwood faces gridlock unless congestion and parking issues are properly addressed, according to town councillor Terry Scriven.
He is calling for urgent action before the situation worsens and wants a council sub-committee to be established to look at likely traffic problems the town would face over the next five to ten years.
Councillor Scriven said the Council should be " doing something about it" by developing its own strategic plan.
Councillor Neville Chard echoed his views, claiming that Ringwood was frequently congested due to tail backs on the A31.
Members agreed that existing and future problems with traffic should be investigated and addressed in the town plan. |
