Zoe was born and brought up in Hampshire and New Milton and has worked in the care sector for 17 years.

She feels very strongly that there should be better representation of the younger generations on the Town Council and like most of us, is appalled by the way developers seem to run roughshod over the local views on planning.

She would also like to see a significant improvement in parking provision and traffic planning around the town, more and better facilities for both young and old – a better use of our council tax.

Mike, married with two children, has lived in New Milton since 1980.

Until his recent retirement he worked as an accountant in the Financial Services industry. He keeps his hand in by keeping the accounts for a Lymington church and as treasurer to the local Lib Dem branch.

He is also secretary of the local table tennis club. He feels he could bring his financial experience to the NFDC, but like many in New Milton feels that the number one issue is planning and the steady loss of character of many parts of the town as the result of overdevelopment.

Mike is also standing for the Town Council in this ward.
